As we left Michele's apartment heading toward the Metro, I couldn't resist a couple more photos.  The church is the Eglise de Jourdain, dedicated to John the Baptist, who baptized  Christ in the Jordan River.  The church was so striking with the double spires.   Then I turned around to see the beautiful cakes in the window of the pastry shop.  These are such works of art--almost too pretty to eat.
