Going and Coming

Sadly, we said “good-bye” to our fiends Pat and Kay and Don and Vivian this morning.

 Today, we are getting ready for  Charles and Pennie and Jerry and Donna, Tom’s brothers and their wives.  Charles and Pennie are from Pinehurst, North Carolina and Jerry and Donna are from Tulsa, Oklahoma.  They come tomorrow (Wednesday) for a week.

I don’t know if I mentioned it but the house we have rented is on Tom Cat Hill Road! 

 We think that’s a perfect address for Tom!   Tom Cat Hill is very wooded and seems to have a lot of wildlife living here.  We often see mule deer as we go up and down our road.

Each time we are on Main Street we pass a Thai Food Truck.  Today we decided to check it out for lunch.

We shared an order of crab fried rice and an order of crispy egg rolls.  They were delicious!

I’m going to make clam chowder, so we made a trip to the grocery store for ingredients.  The clams are from the fish market.  

We are so looking forward to the coming week with family. 

We are excited to introduce a new group to the beautiful view from our house and the incredible beauty of the area!
