Bandon—Part II

We thought Charles and Pennie might enjoy the unique and charming town of Bandon.  So, “Road Trip”!

When we were in Bandon before, I went to Bandon Sweets and Treats and I wanted to go back.

It seems the candy I bought last week had all disappeared!!

The chocolate covered caramels were fantastic, no wonder they disappeared.

There are lots of aspects to Bandon.  It’s a fishing community,

a shopping community

 and an arts community.

There were several people out on the pier fishing and crabbing.  The sign warns them about the boardwalk.

We had fun seeing the shops: candy, souvenir, even restaurants.

Art is everywhere.  There were lots of carvings

but what really intrigued us and saddened us were  the sculptures made of trash from the ocean.

These sculptures are truly unique and there will be more to come.
