Spending Time in Trogir

Last Sunday when we drove into Trogir, I said to myself , " How will we fill a whole week in this small Croatian town"? Well, now we're at the end of the week, and we have been enchanted by this Croatian paradise and we still have things we would like to do and see.

We are great fans of Old Town, with it's historic cobblestone walkways, churches, restaurants and
shopkeepers inviting you in to check things out.

The old north and south gates seem to be inviting us into the walled city.

I

The  market is a must.  The most beautiful fruits, vegetables, clothes and beach items.

And honey.

Couldn't resist buying more of the most delicious juicy peaches!

We passed on a restaurant the other day where a cute girl welcomed us to come to her family's place.  She was so nice and genuine, today we couldn't resist.  They definitely had a lavender theme.

We each had fresh selections from the nearby sea.  Tom said he thought it was some of the best food we've had on this trip and I agree--delicious!
It's even back to the beach one more time for us non beach people.  After enjoying the clear blue water we went in search of the perfect sunset picture.

I think we nailed it!
