A Quiet Day and Dinner with Friends

We needed a day just to chill, and this was it.  We've been going, going, going and it was time to do a little laundry.  All the places we've been in so far have had washers and dryers, but not here.  So we were on a mission to find a laundromat.  Success!  Now we have clean clothes to move on to Budapest tomorrow.
Tom had a message from a friend from his college days, that he and his wife would be on a river cruise and would be in Vienna the same time we are.  We arranged to meet them at their boat, the "Crystal Mozart", and find a nice place for dinner.
On our way to meet them, we encountered some interesting things.
For those of you that only have limited time to get things done, we saw a haircut/tattoo salon.

We saw a place called the "Grow Shop".

Checking it out, we found marijuana growing, right in our neighborhood!

And bongs to go with it.

We saw signs for upcoming events, and on a more gentle side, we saw some rabbits.

Finally, we got to their boat.  It was beautiful!

I was looking forward to meeting Mike and his wife Gail.  We exchanged introductions and found a place for dinner.  We chose a typical Austrian place in the "Millenium Tower" near where their boat was docked.

We had a delightful evening discussing travel, children,  some sports talk and old times.

I felt there was something familiar about Gail and asked if she had ever been to a hand surgeon.  She said, "Bo Frederick?"  That's the doctor I worked for!  She was a patient, no wonder she looked familiar!  We had a wonderful evening visiting with Mike and Gail, the food wasn't all that good, but the company was grand.  Gail gave us chocolate candy and Mike let us borrow his book on Budapest.
We walked them back to their boat and made our way back to the hotel.

On the way back we saw river boats lined up at the docks as far as the eye could see.

The full moon over The Danube was a beautiful sight to see.
