Notre Dame

Well, what can you say about Notre Dame that hasn't already been said?  It's still as grand, sacred and magnificent as it always has been and always will be.
The cathedral was begun in 1163 AD during the reign of Louis VII and was completed some 200 years later.  This year they are celebrating 850 years of Notre Dame.
Tom took a picture of me with the alter of Notre Dame in the background and another of the cathedral as we were making our way towards Ile St.-Louis.
