THE FASCINATING NORWAY FJORDS ( PART II)

I know that's a big build up to the fjords but Norway is majestic and awesome and must be shared! We finally made it to the small village of Fram and the gathering place for the fjord trip. We got in the cue with 400 other fjord cruisers.
There was a cruise ship in the tiny port. We assume a lot of our fellow passengers came from the ship.
It was raining as we made our way inside the boat to find seats. There were people from all over the globe. We were lucky enough to find seats by two couples, one from Boerne, Texas and one from Rhode Island. Stories were shared and friendships forged.
Our tour took us through two of Norway's most famous UNESCO-protected fjords. First the Aurlandsfjord, then the narrow and dramatic Naeroyfjord. As we left the dock at Flam the first thing we saw were...more waterfalls!
Even though the rain was spotty it didn't stop us from venturing outside for views and photos.
Here was the majestic part--the Aurlandsfjord
At the halfway point we made the turn into the narrow Naeroyfjord.
Docking at the tiny village of Gudvangen at the end of our most memorable fjord adventure. We took a bus to Voss and then back on the train to Bergen.
