ON TO ORVIETO!

Orvieto is a walled hilltop village in Umbria. We can see it from our house across the valley.

It is quite a tourist attraction, so we had to make it a stop on this trip. We saw Orvieto once before for a quick stop on our way to another location several years ago. It's helpful to have our Italian friends with us. Angelo talked a guy into letting us park in a great place.

The Duomo is the frist structure you come upon and you can't miss it. As most of the catherals in Europe it's magnificent! We took our time touring this beautiful cathedral.

Again, eating

and shopping are in order. That always makes for a good time.
