A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Because we have been so busy and on the go for our last three days in Amalfi, I know I am three days behind. I will catch up as soon as possible. We'll begin with Vivian's birthday on Friday. Tom and I took her for a birthday celebration lunch at a beautiful restaurant called La Conca Azzurra overlooking the Medditaranian. The other fellow travelers opted for a day at Pompeii.

We had a most delicious lunch with a side of rain, lots of rain!

The outside dining room cleared out when the rains came. It was a wonderful day for us and the "Pompeii" people.

Later that evening there was another celebration back at our villa. Marissol and Angelo prepared an authentic Italian pasta meal with all the trimmings for Vivian's birthday.

She was even entertained by "Happy Birthday" in Italian!
