Sacre Coeur, Eragny Sur Oise and a little night music

We packed so much into this day, I don't even know where to begin, but first things first.  Again, we were looking for an inside activity due to a light mist.  Heading toward Sacre Coeur by way of the tourist street, we were hoping for some inside pictures.

Sacre Coeur is a most magnificent structure!

We've been around it many many times this trip but never inside.  Once inside, it's even more magnificent!  The stain glass windows, the frescos, the statuary and the abundance of candles all make up the holiness of this Catherdral.

We have plans to meet Michele at the train station for a trip to Eragny Sur Oise, just outside of Paris, to meet her friend, Michele and hear Stephane's Salsa band.
The train is new and comfy and we settle in for our thirty minute ride.

"New Michele" is waiting for us at the station to take us to her apartment.
As mentioned many times before, there has been so much rain, every thing is unbelievably green!

Michele and her husband, Terry have a very nice third floor apartment.  She has prepared a lovely offering of snacks and Champagne!

We visit for a while before leaving to go see Stephane's band.

On the short walk to the venue we see signs advertising the band "Suerte Nueve.

Michele and Stephane's cousin and family have also come to hear him play.

Lively does not begin to describe the atmosphere!  There is dancing and Salsa music and festive people!  Such a fun evening!!

The band sounds great!
We leave the event and return to "New Michele's" apartment for dinner.  We meet Terry and sit down to the incredible meal that Michele has prepared.  She has really gone out of her way to make strangers feel so welcome.

But, all good things....and she takes us back to the train station for our return trip back to Paris.  We say our goodbyes to Michele and find our Metro station back to our apartment.  As soon as we get off the Metro, we are greeted by the loudest music you can imagine.  It's "Music Night" in Paris.  Bands are playing all over the city.  As we climbed the steps to our apartment we were greeted by thousands more revelers and another band playing just outside our apartment.  It went on, on the steps outside our apartment until 1:30am!

Good-night!
