We're not going to let our friends, Pat and Barbara rest.  We'll hit the ground running.  It's off to the gondola first thing.  A quick trip up the mountain (because it's about to close).  The view is still spectacular--never disappoints.
Next a toboggan ride--fast or slow still a thrill!
Pat and Barbara treated us to a lovely dinner in the elegant dining room at their hotel.  The food was delicious and the service impeccable.  Our waitress was adorable--and liked practicing her English on us.
Off to bed for a good night's sleep.
Friday morning is shopping time.  Barbara and I can't resist the cute little shops that Oberstaufen has to offer.  Who can walk away from Christmas ornaments, Santas and a cowbell!
Tom and Pat showed off their new German hats.
Back in the car for a day trip to Lindau.  We loved this little town before, and wanted to share it with our friends.  We had a delightful lakeside lunch, then off to explore.  The quaint buildings and cobblestone streets are always a treasure.  After absorbing all of Lindau we could, we took off for Dornbirn, Austria.  Another little Barvarian town full of quaint.  This stuff never gets old.
Back in Oberstaufen, a few minutes to rest and it's on to our favorite pizza place for a light dinner.  Tummies full, recalling a wonderful day and now for some much needed rest.
