Flamenco!

We met our next door neighbors here in the apartment complex.  Ian and Mary are from Glasgow, Scotland.  They are owners and come about five times a year.  Ian told us about a fun place to eat and see an authentic Flamenco Show.  How Spanish can you get?  Rebate is the name of the town and restaurant.  It's about 15 miles north of Los Alcazares.

We didn't have reservations, but we went in search of it anyway, hoping there might be room for us.  The Flamenco dancing is only three times a week.  We found it and we were lucky.  They had room for us on the patio under the olive trees.

We had a delicious multi-course lunch.  I was ready to order my starter from the offerings listed and was told--you get all of these!  Yea!

The dancers were very entertaining.  The woman started first, she was amazing, lots of tapping, swaying and swirling.  This is Flamenco dancing at it's best--of course, it's all we've seen, but we were inspired.  The man did an equally fantastic job.

A younger lady then preformed with them.  They were all very well trained in their art.  There were several costume changes and lots of heel stomping.  We loved it all!

There was a small shop offering local arts, crafts and wines.  We returned home totally satisfied and entertained.
