We bid good-bye to our home for the month of September and headed for California. Seven-thirty was our set time to leave and we did. The trip was mostly pleasant and uneventful, which is good. We did run into some smoke around Santa Rosa, California where the firemen were still battling to put out a devastating fire in the area.
Finally, when we made it to the Golden Gate Bridge, we were almost there!
We were so excited to see Brian and the grandkids!
Brian and Amy’s house is beautiful and the dinner he prepared for us was delicious.
The house sits at the top of a hill in Hillsborough. You can see San Francisco Bay and on a clear day you can see downtown San Francisco about fifteen miles away and across the bay to Mount Diablo.
We missed Amy because she was in New York taking care of her business.
The kids are so fun and we are so grateful to have them in our lives.
