The Clack’s are on the go again! This time it’s just to get out of this Texas heat wave. Not really, it will probably be rather hot where we’re going. Again, my trip planner extraordinaire, Tom has created an interesting itinerary for us. Our first stop will be Oslo, Norway. We have encountered quite an ordeal with this first leg. There have been two flight cancellations,resulting in added train trips and extra flights. But we have high hopes and positive attitudes that all will work out fine. (Outcome in a later blog.) Next, we will board a flight to Rome and meet our friends from Dallas, Wichita Falls and Turino, Italy. You might remember this bunch from our last Italy trip. They are great travelers and a wonderful group of friends. We will pick up a nine passenger van and head to the Amalfi Coast. After what should be a beautiful, relaxing week there, it’s on to Umbria for an equally beautiful and relaxing week at that location. After we say “good bye” to our friends back in Rome, Tom and I will head off for a final week in Paris. This trip has long been in the planning so here’s hoping all goes as planned.
